The updated intranet consists of a wide range of warm colors and 3-D images for depth and an inviting look. Task-related tabs, which are the main navigation system for the intranet, are used to move away from organizing data based on departments and toward fostering collaboration among all areas of the library. Also, symbols remain constant throughout the site, making the correlation between illustration and function obvious. Creation of the intranet is detailed, including the formulation of a login script and implementation of a logical navigation system so that pages are easy to find. This article discusses the development of the Jenkins Law Library Intranet 2.0.
